Delicate Fear

This image encapsulates the fragility of a common fear, the shark. Something engrained into our memories from films and tales as old as time and something that should be lost. Sharks should be respected and not feared, these creatures are, in truth, graceful and curious beings.

We spent the morning with them in the lagoon, watching as they swam effortlessly, gliding through the water as gently as birds through the air. Their curiosity led them close, inspecting my camera before continuing their journey. Every encounter with these magnificent animals fills me with gratitude. With this image, I hope to invite you to look beyond the fear and see their true beauty realizing that this “Delicate Fear” is something to learn from.
